A NATURAL MONOPOLY

Side Note:

Southwestern Bell, one of the local Bell operating companies, had some radio commercials in 1970 with the theme "We may be the only phone company in town, but we try not to act like it."  This of course was during the time when the Bell System was a monopoly in the USA and before local phone competition was permitted by the US government.
